Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, her brother E. The family gratefully acknowledges the compassionate care Phyllis received from the staff at Celeste Care and the professionals of Hill Country Hospice.We kindly ask that remembrances be made in Phyllis's honor to the Alzheimer's Association. A graduate of Everett High School, Pennsylvania, Von proudly served his country in the USAF during the Korean War.Additionally, he was an avid football fan and Nascar, armchair participant.Great Grandchildren Brylee and Payton Irvin, Wyatt and Walker Lockhart and soon to be born Harper Lynn Lockhart as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Dusty Lockhart, Toby Lockhart, Casey Irvin, Stormy Irvin, James Lockhart, Tony Irvin and Bryce Mc Glothlin. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from PM to PM at the Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home in Llano.Graveside Services will follow at PM at the Llano City Cemetery with his son Jeff Westbrook officiating.

Wanda was born February 16, 1930 in Luther TX to Clyde and Eula Clanton. Wanda worked at the Crystal Cafe where she met her husband James Gortney. Together They had 5 children , Edna (Ricky) Lane and husband Jerry Lane of Burnet TX, Donna Paugh and husband Ray of Kingsland TX, Lanny Gortney and wife Jamie of Odessa, Pam little and husband Steve of Granite Shoals TX and Laurie Michelle Gortney.
She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, one brother Danny Clanton and many more friends and family.
Their kindness was endless, for which we are grateful.
Wanda Beth Gortney, 87, passed away on Tuesday October 31st, 2017 at her home after a lengthy illness.
